Arbuthnot Latham & Co, the UK-based private bank, has appointed Jim Pittick as director, commercial banking.

Pittick, with 36 years’ experience in the corporate and commercial banking sectors, was most recently executive director, professional practices at Coutts & Co, having moved across in 1994 from NatWest, where he worked with small businesses, mid-size and major corporate clients.

In his new role, Pittick is responsible for corporate and commercial clients.

In other recent developments, last month Arbuthnot Latham & Co named Dan Saxby as director, private banking, recruiting him from Coutts, where he had been an executive director and wealth manager.
