UK Law Firm Launches HNW Online Reputation Service

The UK law firm has partnered with an intelligence business management operation to launch the new service.
Collyer
Bristow, the UK private wealth law firm, and Digitalis
Reputation, the intelligence business, have partnered to launch a
new digital reputation management service.
The service will help protect high-net-worth individuals from
exposure to damaging material found online and in the dark web,
the firms said in a statement.
It scans the web for any material or content that is defamatory,
fictitious or which the client wishes to remain private. If any
damaging or private information is identified, Collyer Bristow’s
media and privacy team is able to undertake legal action to have
the content removed.
An ongoing monitoring service is also available as well as
educational sessions on how best to maintain privacy online. The
service can also be extended to family members in order to
further safeguard the personal information of the individual and
their wider family.
“HNWs and ultra high-net-worth individuals are a key target
area for criminals on the dark web – so they need to ensure they
are protected as best as they can,” said Steven Heffer, partner
at Collyer Bristow. “The firm has a reputation for innovation,
and a collaboration with a leading intelligence firm like
Digitalis was a natural next step for us. Sensitive personal
information that is on the internet can be very dangerous and can
easily be used to exploit individuals. This service provides
HNWIs and UHNWIs with the reassurance that any defamatory
material or leaked information on them online can be tracked and
removed.”
