UK Investments Boutique Brings Over Ex-GAM Manager

This publication brings latest news of moves and hires in global wealth management.

Connection Capital, a private client investment boutique, has appointed Victoria McGurran as a client manager. She previously worked for Swiss-listed asset management house GAM.

In her new role, McGurran will develop and handle relationships with the firm’s private investor client base of around 950 individuals.

At GAM, McGurran was a member of the UK client team. Prior to this, she focused on macro and alternative strategies at Julius Baer Investments, which she joined from the fixed income research group at Merrill Lynch, Connection Capital said in a statement yesterday.

As a result of the move, Connection Capital’s team stands at 19 people. The firm has £180 million ($236 million) of funds under management.
