UK IFA Platform Bolsters Investment Operations

Nucleus, the Edinburgh-based IFA wrap platform, has appointed Martin Leckie to the newly-created role of investment operations manager.

Leckie comes across from Standard Life, where he spent five years working with wrap platform investments and asset administration. Before that, he worked for Bank of New York (now BNY Mellon).

In his new role, Leckie will report to wrap operations director Jeff Spence and be responsible for the execution of fund and product processes. An important part of his job will be to develop relationships with fund groups and discretionary fund managers, Nucleus said in a statement.

In another recent development at the firm, Nucleus expanded its communications team with the appointment of Faith Liversedge to the newly-created position of IFA communications manager in April.
