UK Financial Services Group Acquires IFA Firm In The North-West

Perspective Financial Group has acquired the Cheshire-based advisory firm Multiplex Financial Trustees, making it the seventh IFA practice to be brought under the PFG brand.

Multiplex’s is structured around three service divisions specialising in wealth management, corporate healthcare and pension planning. The firm also offers a separate specialist advisory service for clients involved in high value personal injury and clinical negligence settlements.

The acquisition of Multiplex, which advises on over £100 million ($166 million) of funds, has increased PFG’s total funds under management and advice to £500 million.

In a statement, Damian Keeling, PFG’s managing director, said that the group was in negotiations with similar IFA firms and expected to announce further acquisitions in the months ahead.

Multiplex will continue to trade under its current name with its existing management team continuing to run the business.

PFG, which was launched in April 2008, includes companies in Milton Keynes, Cambridge, Harrogate, Otley, Newcastle and Wilmslow.
