UK Financial Advisor Confirms Edinburgh Hires

UK-listed financial advisory and wealth management firm Brooks Macdonald Asset Management has confirmed its appointment of three fund managers to its recently opened Edinburgh office, following media reports of the move more than a month ago.

The trio are Gareth Howlett, Robin McAdam and Alastair Wilson, who have joined the company from Adam & Company, the Scottish private banking business held by Royal Bank of Scotland. RBS also owns Coutts, the UK private bank.

The managers held the positions of chief investment officer, executive director, and executive director and business development director respectively.

“The hires are an important step in establishing a solid base in the Scottish capital, which BMAM believe offers significant growth opportunities,” BMAM said in a statement.
