Citisoft, the investment management consulting firm, has launched a hedge fund and derivatives practice to cater for growing demand for consulting services from the sectors. The new practice will help the buy-side respond to market growth, hedge fund formalisation, the increasing use of derivatives, and demands for greater transparency. It will consult on project reviews, systems selection, IT architecture, integration and implementation and options for structuring for alternative investment businesses. The practice will be headed by Sunil Chadda. Prior to joining Citisoft in 2001, Mr Chadda was at Schroder Investment Management as an IT manager on its international fixed income desk, and a business analyst for custody operations.
