UK's PSigma Now Wholly Owned By Punter Southall Group

Punter Southall Group, the UK-based financial services group, now owns 100 per cent of fund manager PSigma Asset Management.
The group previously owned a 50 per cent stake in PSigma, which was set up in 2007 and has £750 million ($1.2 billion) in client assets. The remainder was owned by the founding partners.
As a result of the deal, Bill Mott and Ian Chimes, two of the founding partners of PSigma, have become shareholders in Punter Southall Group.
Mott said in a statement that all staff members of the company have equity or options to buy equity in Punter Southall Group. The fund management boutique also emphasised that no major changes to investment teams and managers will come out of the transaction.
