UK's Grovepoint Investment Management Adds Senior Hire

London-based Grovepoint Investment Management, a division of Grovepoint Capital, has appointed David Drewienka to the newly created position of investment director.

London-based Grovepoint Investment Management, a division of Grovepoint Capital, has appointed David Drewienka to the newly-created position of investment director.

Drewienka joins from Investec Bank, where he spent sixteen years, most latterly as head of specialised lending, focusing on transactions in the private equity, hedge fund and listed equity strategies.

In addition to managing the overall strategic direction of the business, Drewienka was also responsible for structuring specialised investment and lending transactions and managing key client relationships within the firm. Prior to joining Investec in 1998, he spent six years at Arthur Andersen in roles covering accounting and audit, tax and business finance.

GIM sources and manages investments for pension funds, financial institutions, family offices and high net worth individuals. GIM also offers bespoke portfolio management services, providing independent advice on asset allocation through both active and passive investment strategies across global asset classes.
