Risk profiling and wealth management technology firm Distribution
Technology has integrated with boutique wealth management
firm Berry Asset
Management.
Distribution Technology said in a statement that the integration
will increase the range of services available to its clients and
help to drive a new wave of investors to Berry’s asset management
proposition.
The integration means electronic valuations for Berry’s products
are now available through Distribution Technology’s Dynamic
Planner risk profiling tool.
In April, Distribution Technology appointed Kevin Bull as
director of asset management clients from SEI, where he was a
director responsible for working with key accounts in relation to
SEI Goals Based Investment Solutions.
Founded in 2003, Distribution Technology serves more than 200
intermediary firms.
Berry Asset Management was established in 1981 and is a
majority-owned subsidiary of Bordier & Cie, the Geneva-based
private banking group.
Bordier & Cie said earlier this year that Berry Asset Management
will evolve as the UK-facing division and cater for existing
clients, with a multi-disciplinary team to be recruited for a new
division, which will cater for the needs of resident
non-domiciled and international clients.
Berry is awaiting necessary regulatory approvals but the firm hopes to open its doors for business in the autumn under the leadership of its current chief executive officer Jamie MacLeod.
