UK's Jupiter Promotes Analyst To Fund Manager Role

Jupiter Asset Management, the UK investment house, has promoted Gregory Herbert, a member of the European equities team, to manage the European portfolio of the Jupiter Global Managed Fund.
Herbert, who joined Jupiter in 2005, has worked with Cedric de Fonclare, manager of the Jupiter European Special Situations Fund, since 2007, focusing on analysis and valuation of companies and investment screening.
The Jupiter Global Managed Fund aims to achieve long term capital growth through investing in global equities. It is managed on a team basis with recently appointed lead manager, Simon Somerville using the stock picking skills of several of Jupiter’s UK and international fund managers. Asset allocation decisions are set by Somerville with input from John Chatfeild-Roberts, Jupiter’s Chief Investment Officer and Head of the Jupiter Independent Funds Team.
