UK's IntelliFlo Unveils New Personal Finance Portal

IntelliFlo, the UK-based, web-based financial software company, has launched a personal financial portal for advisors and clients.

Some of the new features are a two-way secure messaging service between clients and their advisory organisation, a client document vault, and fund fact sheets and performance data available for clients.

The portal, which forms part of the firm’s Intelligent Office programme, is described as "Retail Distribution Review-friendly". The RDR reforms are designed to increase the standard of advice in the sector via raised qualification standards and also by stamping out commission payments. As a result, it has been claimed that as many as 15 per cent or more of financial advisors will be driven out of business.

IntelliFlo also announced this week that its annual turnover in 2011 was £8.9 million ($14 million), an increase of nearly 40 per cent on 2010.
