Alliance Trust has appointed Gregor Stewart as a non-executive director, effective 1 December.

Alliance Trust has appointed Gregor Stewart as a non-executive director, effective 1 December, the firm said in a statement.
 
Stewart is currently a professional advisor to international financial services groups.

From 2009 to 2012, he was finance director for the insurance division of Lloyds Banking Group and before this he was a partner in Ernst & Young’s financial services practice.
