UBS Wealth Management has appointed Vinay Bedi as an executive director in Newcastle.

Bedi, with 25 years’ experience at Brewin Dolphin, spent much of his time in the firm’s asset management division. He also managed investment for many of the region’s charities, pension funds and high net worth private clients in the north east.

Bedi’s appointment follows January’s arrival of Andrew Elliott, also as an executive director in Newcastle.

In the UK and Jersey, UBS has over 850 people serving across a network of seven local offices.
