UBS Wealth Management in the US has unveiled the integration of the strategic client segments into the business and client development efforts, this publication can report.
UBS in the US has moved
several of its senior managers to new wealth roles, building out
offerings for small business owners, and sportsmen and women,
among others, this news service can confirm.
Frank Minerva will assume the role of head of field sales and
execution, leading a newly-established team of divisional sales
managers aligned to cover UBS’s wealth management and private
wealth management advisors, according to an internal memo from
Kevin Adams, head of national sales, UBS Wealth Management USA,
as seen by Family Wealth Report.
Other changes:
-- Bianca Benedetti-Fang will serve as the divisional sales
manager for wealth management “East”;
-- Michelle Fenske will become the DSM for wealth management
“West”; and
-- James Jack will become the DSM for private wealth
management “East”.
UBS said the DSM for private wealth management “West” will be
announced in due course.
In other moves, Brian Hess will become head, content and field
distribution, focused on the coordinated distribution of
marketing and execution resources across national sales and the
firm’s GWM-aligned product areas.
Patrick Breen will lead a newly-established team as head,
business strategy and sales origination, focusing on driving
change initiatives across the organization centered on sales
enablement and business development, working closely with STAAT
and the firm’s GWM-aligned product areas.
In future, the existing strategic client segments teams will be
integrated with business and client development efforts, as
follows:
-- Wale Ogunleye will become head of client growth and
development, sports and entertainment, with expanded client
responsibilities;
-- James Jack, adding to his DSM responsibilities (above), will
continue to serve as a senior resource supporting business owner
and ESOP clients; and
-- Carey Shuffman will be strategic marketing manager, head of
women’s wealth US, reporting to Alicia Curry, head of strategic
marketing for GWM Americas.
UBS declined to comment further on the changes.
