Two More UK IFAs Join Nucleus Wrap Platform

York-based Ardent IFA and West Sussex-based Accord Financial Management are to join the Nucleus wrap platform, taking its number of member IFA firms to 65 and the total number of advisors using the platform to 600.

“As an IFA-owned and controlled platform, Nucleus is not only closely aligned to the needs of our business and clients but also provides us with the ability to influence its future direction – making it the natural platform choice for us having looked at others on the market,” Mark Fisher, director at Ardent IFA, said in a statement.

“Nucleus offers a refreshing change with its clean and transparent charging structure. We were particularly attracted to its independence, the IFA ownership structure and the opportunity for meaningful involvement at all levels,” said Paul Roper, director at Accord Financial Management.

The firms' decision to join Nucleus continues a run of recent sign-ups to the platform, with Glasgow-based Strategic Asset Managers having come on board just last week.

All the IFA firms which join Nucleus take an equity stake in the platform firm, reflecting, Nucleus says, the fact that financial advisors are at the centre of its proposition. As part of this Nucleus has an IFA advisory board –  comprising seven member firms – which meets quarterly to discuss the future development of the platform.
