Transatlantic Executive Search House Expands Via Merger

The combined entity will have a total of 30 people based out of New York, Boston and London.

BraddockMatthews and David Barrett Partners are merging to create an international asset management executive search business.

The new business, comprising 30 people, is called BraddockMatthewsBarrett, the firms said in a statement earlier this week. It has nine partners in New York, Boston and London, and an associated staff of consultants, research, and administrative professionals.

The organisation concentrates on asset management – including asset owners, private equity, private debt, and alternative and traditional asset management firms. There is also wealth management expertise in the mix.

“Combining our teams with the level of depth of our respective asset management search experience, creates a firm with unparalleled access to world-class talent across traditional and alternative asset management, including the full spectrum of investment, distribution, operations, and C-suite talent,” Derek Braddock and Bill Matthews, BraddockMatthews’ co-founders, said.
