Towry, the UK-based wealth manager, has brought in Jamie Hull as a wealth advisor focused on serving dental professionals at the firm's Manchester office.

Hull, who joins a team of six advisors in Piccadilly, has spent much of his career in the financial services industry advising dental professionals on issues including NHS changes and how these will affect retirement plans, inheritance tax planning and investment management.

He spent the past three years as a financial consultant at Wesleyan Assurance Society, before which he worked for six years as a financial planning manager at HSBC.

Earlier this month, Towry continued a string of 2013 hires with the addition of Chris Down as a wealth advisor in Exeter. In February, the firm brought in Elen Davies and Minaz Kasmani as Bristol-based advisors.

Towry has some 148 wealth advisors across its 18 UK offices. In a statement regarding its latest hire, the firm said it is currently looking to expand in the northwest by acquiring smaller financial advice firms and taking on more advisors throughout this year.
