Towry Appoints Financial Planner

The UK wealth manager is continuing to boost its financial planning capabilities, this time with an ex-Lloyds advisor.

Towry has hired Charles Coade as a financial planner within its Leeds office.

Coade was previously a financial advisor for Lloyds Banking Group and, before that, an independent financial advisor at HSBC. He brings nine years of experience in financial services, six of which have been in client wealth management.

The new addition follows a string a recent regional appointments at the firm. Most recently, Towry hired Alex Price and Michelle Murphy from Grant Thornton within its Belfast office. Price joined as a financial planner and wealth manager, while Murphy joined as a wealth planner. In May, Paul Sayers joined the Guildford office as a wealth advisor, while Paul Hudson and Simon Davis became financial planners in Leeds.

Towry had £9.1 billion ($13.4 billion) of client assets under management or advice as of the end of 2015.
