Tilney Group Powers On With Recruitment Drive

Tilney, the UK investment management and financial planning group, has hired a new financial planner for one of its UK offices.

Recently-rebranded Tilney Group has hired Tony Linnane as a financial planner to join its Chelmsford office as it continues its recruitment drive.

Linnane joined from financial advice group Attivo where he was a chartered financial planner. Prior to that, he worked as an advisor at SP Financial Planning and Lloyds Banking Group.

He has significant experience in building and maintaining relationships with high net worth private clients and takes a holistic approach to advising clients, according to Tilney Group.

“Tony is a highly-qualified individual with a track record of developing a professional network from which he can build up a client base,” said Richard Dawes, regional head of financial planning at Tilney Group. “He believes strongly in his continued professional development in order to offer his client the highest level of service. As we continue to expand our financial services team, we will be looking for financial planners, like Tony, who can offer the best possible service to our clients.”

Last month, the firm carved out a new role so Nicholas Pearson could head up its charity business development unit.
