Tilney Bestinvest Hires Financial Planner From Hargreaves Lansdown

The London-headquartered investment and financial planning group has added to its financial planning team.
Tilney Bestinvest has hired Nicholas Nicol from Hargreaves Lansdown as a financial planner.
Nicol joins after five years as a financial planner at Hargreaves Lansdown, where he was responsible for clients across London and North Kent. Before that, he was a client manager at Bank of Scotland Investment Services.
Based in London, Nicol will work alongside the firm’s investment managers to provide an integrated wealth management service to clients. He will report to Tilney Bestinvest's director of financial planning, Adam Osper.
“Nicholas joins us as part of Tilney Bestinvest’s continuing expansion within the financial planning sector, and follows our recent acquisition of the Webb Holton business in Birmingham and the hiring of highly talented financial planning staff across the UK,” said the firm's managing director, financial planning, Richard Dawes.
Tilney Bestinvest, which employs almost 400 staff across its UK network of offices, looks after more than £9 billion ($14 billion) of client assets.
