Tata AIG Launches Luxury Asset Insurance Service

Tata AIG Private Client Group is reaching out to more high net worth clients with the recent launch of a comprehensive jewellery and valuables insurance arm.

The service focuses exclusively on high net worth individuals and their tangible assets, such as high-end cars, fine art, rare antiques, and just about anything else clients value, the firm said. Included in the insurance offerings are: risk coverage of possessions against damages, repair, restoration and reimbursement for the loss of value that may occur thereafter, concierge level claims, transit supervision, preservation and storage assistance, and others. Tata AIG has also just teamed up with the upcoming India International Jewellery Week 2010 to showcase its products.

"Insurance for jewellery and valuables of high net worth individuals is a developing and under-penetrated sector. We are one of the first companies to proactively service this segment," said Gaurav Garg, the chief executive and managing director of Tata AIG.

The IIJW 2010 will showcase top-of-the-line jewellery from India and is organised by The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council of India.
