TD Bank Hires Senior Private Banker From Portland Rival

TD Bank, a US subsidiary of Canada’s Toronto-Dominion Bank of Toronto, has hired Sean Roy-Becker as a senior private banking officer for its Portland, Maine office.

In his new role Roy-Becker will provide high net worth clients, professional practices and business owner throughout Maine with private banking and wealth management services, the firm said in a statement.

Roy-Becker was formerly a relationship manager at Key Private Bank, also in Portland.

In its second quarter results the wealth management side of TD Bank Financial Group reported net income of $117 million, up 23 per cent from the same period last year, largely driven by fee revenue from higher client assets and an improved net interest margin.
