Swiss Private Bank Names New Singapore CEO

The appointment was made in a bid to expand the bank's offering to ultra-high net worth families in the region.

J Safra Sarasin has named Vinay Gandhi as chief executive of its Singapore operation, effective immediately, as the bank adds 25 new relationship managers.

Based in Singapore, Gandhi, who joined the bank in March last year, will continue to report to Enid Yip, Asia CEO.

The ultra-high net worth division in Asia will continue to report to him.

“With Vinay’s proven ability to lead and grow business organically, we continue our strategic expansion in Asia while maintaining our long-term, prudent approach,” Yip said.

Gandhi and his team “deepend the bank’s commitment to Asia, and expands its capabilities for UHNW families,” J Safra Sarasin said.
