Swiss Bank Opens At New Singapore Address

Swiss private bank EFG Bank has announced the opening of its new Singapore office.

Now occupying a landmark property at 25 North Bridge Road, opposite the Parliament and the High Court, the move furthers the bank's Asian expansion strategy, where it currently has around 500 employees, including more than 160 client relationship officers. In Singapore, EFG employs about 130 people, 70 of whom are CROs.

"Our new premises position us for the next phase of growth in Singapore and the wider region beyond," said Kees Stoute, the managing director of EFG Bank Singapore in a statement. "We remain optimistic for the future, courtesy of our dynamic, entrepreneurial approach which continues to attract both clients and experienced private bankers alike," he added.

Besides Singapore, EFG Bank also has offices in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Jakarta, Manila, Seoul, Taipei and, soon, Shanghai.

The launch of its new office was celebrated Friday, 16 October.
