Strategic Wealth Advisors, the El Paso, TX-based wealth management firm, has appointed Agustin Montes as partner and director of credit and debt management.

Montes joins the firm after spending 15 years in the commercial banking industry, most recently as head of Weststar Bank’s professional and executive lending. He also spent 10 years with JP Morgan.

At SAW, he will be responsible for monitoring interest rates and reviewing client debt and portfolios.

Meanwhile, the firm has also recruited Allison Dunn as a registered paraplanner.
