Private investment office Stanhope Capital has appointed David Nolan and Jonathan Overland to assist the firm in the further development of its business in the Channel Islands.

Both are already directors of Stanhope Capital’s holding company and will now expand their roles for the firm, Stanhope said in a statement.

Nolan and Jonathan Overland are the principal partners of Ivey Cox Consulting, which was established in Jersey in 2007.

“We now plan to take this activity to a higher level and are delighted that David and Jonathan will be working with us. We have known them for many years as they are non executive directors on our board and consequently already members of the Stanhope Capital family.” said Daniel Pinto, chief executive and co-founder of Stanhope Capital.

Stanhope Capital is a global investment office operating out of London, Geneva and Cayman, overseeing approximately $9 billion of investment assets on behalf of wealthy entrepreneurs, families, charities and other institutions around the world.

Daniel Pinto, who is co-founder and chief executive of Stanhope Capital, recently published a book exmining the lessons he says should be learned from the 2008 financial crisis. See a review of his book in WealthBriefing here.
