Stanhope Capital Gets Green Light For Jersey Launch

Stanhope Capital has received authorisation to expand its Channel Islands presence to Jersey.

The Jersey Financial Services Commission has given the go-ahead to investment office Stanhope Capital to do business in Jersey.

The expansion comes as part of Stanhope's drive to further its outreach in the Channel Islands. The new office will be led by founder-directors David Nolan and Jonathan Overland, who have been non-executive directors of Stanhope Group since 2011.

The company has been managing investment portfolios for trust companies in the Channel Islands for over a decade.

“With the help of David and Jonathan over the past ten months, we have been able to reinforce our marketing efforts. Establishing a physical presence in Jersey is in direct response to the increasing demand that we have seen from the Channel Islands’ fiduciary community seeking stable and established institutions to partner with,” Stanhope Capital's client partner, Guy Paterson, said in a statement.

Stanhope Capital oversees around $9 billion of investment assets worldwide.
