Sophis Agrees Swedish Structured Products Deal

Sophis, the French portfolio and risk management technology firm, has signed a deal to provide Garantum Fondkommision, a Swedish asset manager and structured products firm, with a portfolio and risk management infrastructure.

The contract with Stockholm-based Fondkommision will give the structured product boutique is of Sophis VALUE, a cross-asset portfolio and risk management system. The software covers investment management, risk management, middle/back office and accounting processes.

“The Scandinavian marketplace is at an interesting stage in its development and there is a growing reliance on managing alternative funds and risk management. We have built VALUE from the ground up to support the needs of buy-side institutions, while incorporating the sophisticated risk management functionality developed for the sell-side,” said Sebastien Roussotte, chief operating officer, Sophis UK & Middle East.
