Societe Generale Private Banking Names New Head Of Wealth Management Solutons

The French banking group's private banking business has announced a number of appointments within its Paris head office.

Societe Generale Private Banking has appointed Olivier Paccalin as its new head of wealth management solutions.

Based in Paris, Paccalin joins SGPB's executive committee and replaces Bruno Lèbre, who will become the firm's head of business development. Paccalin will report to Jean-François Mazaud and Patrick Folléa, respectively head and deputy head of SGPB.

Paccalin, who joined the business back in 1998, has been head of wealth management solutions for SGPB France since 2012. Succeeding him as head of wealth management solutions for France will be Mathieu Vedrenne, who was previously chief operating officer at SGPB Suisse.

Based in Paris, Vedrenne, who joined the group in 2001, will report to Folléa and Paccalin. He will also become a member of the SGPB France executive committee.

Last month, Societe Generale Private Banking welcomed Olivier Lecler, Julien Duniague and Nicole Favre to its executive committee in Switzerland.
