These appointments have been effective since 1 September.

Societe Generale Private Banking (SGPB) has appointed Franck Bonin as director of commercial development.

Also, Mathieu Vedrenne has succeeded Bonin as commercial and marketing director for SGPB France, and Franklin Wernert has replaced Vedrenne as head of wealth management solutions for SGPB France, the firm said in a statement.

Based in Paris, Bonin oversees the full range of the commercial operation of the private bank. He was previously commercial director for SGPB. He joined SocGen in 1997.

Vedrenne and Wernert are responsible for increasing the commercial operation of the private bank in France, as well as working with other operations within the group.

Vedrenne joined the firm in 2001 from PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was a consultant. Wernert joined SG in 2006, and has had various, including most recently, when he was head of strategic projects and chief of staff at SGPB France.

These appointments have been effective since 1 September 2017.

In September, this publication reported that the French-based bank appointed Antoine Creux as chief security officer.
