SocGen Private Banking Appoints New UHNW Head In Switzerland

Société Générale Private Banking has appointed Nicolas de Ziegler as head of the ultra high net worth individual unit in Geneva, in a move to bolster its offerings to UHNW families and individuals.

The firm has also appointed Gustav Koskull and Caroline Gérin Castagné to work directly under de Ziegler.

De Ziegler was previously head of the Geneva unit of BDG, prior to which he was head of portfolio management at Crédit Agricole in Switzerland. He has spent 30 years in the banking sector.

In other recent news, earlier this month Société Générale Private Banking named Laurent Joly as its new global head of wealth planning, fiduciary services and life insurance, promoting him from head of the firm’s private banking business in Luxembourg.
