Schroders has expanded its UK strategic solutions team with the appointment of Rosalind Mann.

Mann joins from Towers Watson, where she was an investment consultant for the past five years. 

She will join a team of six, reporting to Mark Humphreys, head of UK strategic solutions.

Mann will work with clients on the design and implementation of the recently launched fund protection solution Flight Path Swift.

In a statement released earlier this month, Schroders said its private banking business logged a pre-tax profit before exceptional items of £10.6 million ($16.4 million) in the six months to 30 June this year, up from £10.4 million a year before.

Total pre-tax profit for the entire Schroders group – comprising asset management, private banking and other activities – was £221.7 million, up from £177.4 million.
