SVM Co-Founder Resigns

Edinburgh-based investment boutique SVM Asset Management co-founder Donald Robertson has resigned. He has been granted a "leave of absence with immediate effect," the company said in a statement.

Colin McLean is now lead manager of the SVM Global Opportunities fund with Neil Veitch appointed as deputy manager. Veitch will use ideas from the SVM world equity fund.

"The managers have undertaken various changes to the portfolio and will continue to transition the portfolio to increase the fund’s market sensitivity and underlying liquidity. We will provide further information on the portfolio changes in our month-end factsheet report," said the firm in a statement.
