SRL Global has appointed Yvonne Barker-Layton as its marketing and client services director.

The technology firm has charged its new recruit with the responsibility of the firm’s global marketing strategy. Barker-Layton’s main concern will be to raise the brand awareness of the firm and build up its profile, whilst also advancing the firm’s in-house marketing and client service capabilities.

In her previous role, Barker-Layton worked as a consultant in the marketing and client services division of a Geneva-based asset and wealth management company, helping to develop these functions from the firm’s inception. Until January 2009 Barker-Layton was the head of international marketing and client services at Renaissance Investment Management, and was also a member of the communications board of the Renaissance Group. She has also worked at Fauchie Partners and Gartmore Investment Management.

SRL Global has been ramping up its hiring, recently appointing ex-NAPF chairman Robin Ellison to its executive advisory board, "a significant appointment to advance their position in the pensions, family offices and wealth industries, reinforcing that SRL are an expanding and developing company in the global market," said Neil Puri, CEO of SRL Global.
