Bringing together best-in-class subject matter experts and a dedicated support team, the new Client Lifecycle team will offer a bespoke personalised service.

SG Kleinwort Hambros has launched a new Client Lifecycle team, led by Was Chaudry who was recently appointed head of the team.

The team, which is a centralised hub serving clients in the UK, the Channel Islands and Gibraltar, is responsible for enhancing the client experience through improved onboarding. Bringing together best-in-class subject matter experts and a dedicated support team, they will offer a bespoke personalised service, the firm said.

The group, working with client-facing teams, will consist of specialists who know topics such as onboarding, wealth management AML and KYC. They will focus on streamlining client onboarding and exploring new technologies and digital solutions to enhance the client experience.

Was Chaudry, who will lead a team of 20, will report to Kay Lee, head of business management office at SGKH. Prior to joining SGKH, Chaudry was head of onboarding at Credit Suisse Private Bank, where he spearheaded various improvements to digitise and improve onboarding. He also worked at Citi for 14 years in various roles, including head of onboarding for their Private Banking division and as a financial crime compliance officer in their Financial Intelligence Unit.
