SG Assset Management  Launches Leveraged ETF in Germany

Societe Generale Asset Management Alternative Investments has launched in Germany the first leveraged exchange-traded fund based on the Dow Jones EURO STOXX 50; it was admitted for listing on 30 April 2007 on Deutsche Börse’s Xetra Active Funds segment, having been listed on the active ETFs compartment of Euronext’s NextTrack segment since September 2006. The product is designed to replicate up to 200 per cent of the gains and losses of the Dow Jones EURO STOXX 50 and is intended for institutional and corporate investors as well as for active and experienced retail investors looking for leverage in a simple and liquid investment wrapper.
