SEI Investments has launched a new service designed for financial advisors to help affluent clients make major decisions involving wealth and overall “life goals”. The new service, called Wealth Network, “enables advisors to deliver a sophisticated end-client experience that changes the very nature of traditional advisory services,” according to SEI. The major components of the new service include:

  • Case management, which provides advisors with a broad set of experts to help solve client issues such as elder care, career choices, caring for a special needs child, etc.
  • Technology issues, including back office support, financial aggregation, bill pay and client relationship management.
  • Branding and marketing, which comprises a lead generation programme that incorporates direct mail campaigns, referral-based partnerships with trusted advisors like lawyers and accountants, and specially staged client events.
SEI believes wealth advice is evolving into new areas, what the financial firm sees as an emerging “WealthCode” among the affluent.
