Russian Bank Appoints Deputy Chair

Rosbank, the Russian-based firm which provides private banking services to high net worth individuals, has appointed Ulan Ilishkin as deputy chair of the board.

Mr Ilishkin will be overseeing human resources and organisational development, the firm said in a statement.

Having joined the firm’s corporate banking arm in 1998, Mr Ilishkin became head of this department in 2000, before being promoted as a director of the client relations department.

In 2004 he headed Rosbank’s regional network department, where he was responsible for a consolidation of regional network and bank’s business with banks of OVK Group, a Russian banking group.

In May 2006, Mr Ilishkin was appointed as head of administration and in September 2008 he became a director of the department for organisational development and human resources.

In other recent developments, last month Société Générale Group and Interros, one of Rosbank’s parent companies, agreed to merge Rosbank and other Russian-based SocGen subsidiaries including Bank Société Générale Vostok, Rusfinance and DeltaCredit.
