Rowan Dartington, the Bristol-based stockbroker and wealth manager, has appointed Allan Rosengren as relationship development director within Signature, its discretionary investment management business for intermediaries.

Rosengren was latterly joint chief executive of Lighthouse Group, having previously been CEO of Falcon Group and Sumus. He is also currently a partner at Heron Capital, a consultant at Rosengren Consulting and director at Capitecs.

In other recent news, Rowan Dartington recently created a new risk-rated investment process for Signature which constructs portfolios within risk limits agreed with the client.

Rowan Dartington is the latest in a string of firms to make moves in preparation for the implementation of the UK regulator's Retail Distribution Review at the start of 2013.
