Riding The Multi-Channel Wave In Banking, Misys Launches New Mobile Products

Risk management and trading software provider Misys has released a new range of online and mobile banking products, Misys BankFusion Digital Channels, which it claims significantly enhance the way banks provide products and services via the internet or mobile devices.
The BankFusion Digital Channels products predominantly serve retail banking customers but do have several functions for small enterprises that are relevant to wealth management customers as they manage their investments and analyse accounts. These include the BankFusion Personal Finance Manager, BankFusion Internet Brokerage, BankFusion Portfolio Analysis, and BankFusion Mobile Personal Finance Manager modules, the firm told WealthBriefingAsia.
The product range is designed to provide customers with applications that put them in control and has interfaces that are engaging and simple to use. These applications allow customers to engage more easily with their financial services providers and enable portfolio performance tracking on the go, Misys said.
“There has been a consistent upward trend in financial institutions, including wealth managers, adopting digital channels. Clients of wealth managers want to stay in control of their money and assets, and they want convenience,” said Alex Bray, retail channels director, banking.
“The proliferation of mobile devices and the easy availability of mobile internet have put this control more and more in the hands of the client. We believe this trend will continue as innovative solutions like BankFusion Internet Brokerage and BankFusion Portfolio Analysis give our customers access to more usable interfaces and improved functionality in the software that they use,” he added.
