Reyl & Cie Appoints Head Of Risk Management

The Swiss private banking and wealth management house aims to boost risk management efforts with new leadership in this area.
Reyl & Cie has appointed Florence Anglès as head of risk management.
Anglès previously worked at Deloitte Suisse, where she was deputy director of risk management since 2012. In 2009, she set up the rating model validation unit at Banque Cantonale Vaudoise. She has also piloted a number of projects in Brussels for major international banks responding to regulatory changes such as Basel II and Solvency II.
In her new role, Anglès will be responsible for coordinating and expanding the range of measures implemented to identify, prevent and manage risks at group level. She will report directly to the group executive committee, led by François Reyl.
“Between the mounting regulatory constraints and the sophisticated responses they require, risk management has become vitally important within banking institutions such as ours,” said Dominique Paladini, group chief operating officer at Reyl & Cie and a member of the executive committee.
“Given the complexity of our businesses, Florence Anglès’ expertise will give a decisive boost to our efforts in this domain. Her experience will add greater depth and structure to the role of risk management at the group level.”
The Switzerland-headquartered group, which also has offices in Paris, London, Luxembourg, Malta, Singapore, Santa Barbara and Dubai, managed assets of over SFr10 billion ($9.97 billion) as of the end of 2014.
