REYL Names Zurich Branch Head
The manager has the job of developing the Zurich side of the firm's wealth management business.
Switzerland’s REYL
Group has appointed Christian Bauer to head its Zurich
branch.
Bauer, who has more than 24 years of banking experience, started
his career in 1997 at Credit Suisse. He also worked for ABN AMRO
Private Banking from 2006 and UBP from 2011. He joined REYL in
Zurich six years ago alongside Michael Welti, whom he effectively
succeeds.
In his new role, Bauer is tasked with pursuing the development of
the Zurich branch in the wealth management area, as well as
promoting all the bank’s business lines as part of REYL’s 360
services offering strategy.
REYL Zurich, which serves HNW clients residing in Switzerland,
Europe, the Middle East and Asia, wants to expand into its core
growth markets.
"REYL’s Zurich branch is a solid financial performer and a
positive contributor to the culture of the entire REYL Group.
Christian Bauer’s extensive experience and excellent track record
makes him particularly well suited to lead the Zurich branch and
to take it to a new level,” Lorenzo Rocco di Torrepadula, partner
and head of wealth management, said.
