REYL & Cie Names New Head Of Asset Services

The Swiss private bank and wealth manager has appointed leadership for its recently created asset servicing unit.

REYL & Cie has appointed Andreas Söderholm as its new head of asset services.

Söderholm joins after four and a half years at Credit Suisse, where he was part of the global external asset managers fund solutions team. He has also held senior roles at Laven Partners, a Geneva-based consultancy for fund managers and investors, and Fund Advisers Admin.

The asset servicing department, which the bank created last year, offers investment consulting, trading, global custody as well as fund depositary, governance and set-up services.

Based in Geneva, Söderholm will be responsible for promoting REYL's offering to an institutional clientèle including banks, securities dealers, independent asset managers, fund managers, fund administrators and family offices in Switzerland and overseas.

“Mr Söderholm will play a key role in defining bespoke management and custody solutions for fund managers and institutional clients who need to concentrate their efforts on core investment activities. At the same time, he will help building the bank’s footprint in these new areas of activity by developing synergies across our business units and geographic locations,” said chief executive François Reyl.

The REYL group has offices in Geneva, Zurich, Lugano, London, Luxembourg, Malta, Singapore, Santa Barbara, Dallas and Dubai. As of the end of 2015, it managed assets of over SFr11 billion ($11.2 billion).
