RBC Wealth Management has expanded its presence in Texas, taking advantage of rising wealth in the state as tech and energy sectors prosper.

RBC Wealth Management (US) has expanded its presence in the greater Dallas area, adding a three-member team in Plano.

“Thanks in part to the recent technology and energy booms, wealth in Texas is growing,” said Greg Hornok, Plano branch director.

The Winkler Group joins from UBS Financial Services and is comprised of financial advisors James Winkler and Lauren Johnson, and Randi Richardson, client associate.

The team has close to $200 million in assets under administration and $1.3 million in production.

Winkler has 34 years of industry experience and Johnson has worked in the industry for 12 years.
