RBC Expands EM Team With Two Singapore Hires

RBC Wealth Management, part of Royal Bank of Canada, is continuing its emerging markets push with two senior hires based in Singapore.

Li Li Seah joins as vice president of risk management and Leslie Glass as head of human resources.

Seah will report to Susan Heard, global head of risk management for RBC Wealth Management, and Glass to Jenny Poulos, global head of human resources for RBC Wealth Management. They will both be part of the company’s emerging markets operating committee.

Seah joins from RBS Coutts Asia, where she was regional head of credit risk. She has previously worked for Deutsche Bank, ABN AMRO Bank, DBS and OCBC.

Glass was latterly at ABN AMRO and has a background at Citigroup and Deutsche Bank in Singapore and London. 

In related news at the firm, Samir Dewan was appointed chief operating officer for emerging markets last week and Andrew Turczyniak was named head of wealth management in Asia at the beginning of August.

The emerging markets division of RBC Wealth Management has offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, Beijing, Geneva, Dubai, Mumbai, Madrid, Brazil, Brunei, Uruguay, Argentina and Chile.
