Quilter Cheviot Names New Head Of Bristol Office

The UK-based discretionary investment manager has filled the role vacated by its long-serving Bristol office head.
Quilter Cheviot, part of the UK's Old Mutual Wealth, has appointed James Rodgers to spearhead its office in Bristol. He replaces Pamela Reid, who will become the firm's director of services development.
Rodgers, who has spent 15 years at the firm's Bristol office, will take the reins from Reid, who led the office for 17 years. In her newly-created role, Reid will support the development of Quilter Cheviot services both internally and across Old Mutual Wealth. She will also be responsible for helping financial advisors align their suitability process. Reid will continue to head up the firm’s technical committee for self-invested personal pensions and offshore bonds while leading new business initiatives.
Rodgers will head up a team of 15 investment managers and support staff at the Bristol office as the team pursues further growth in the region.
Quilter Cheviot, which is based in 12 locations across the UK, Jersey and Ireland, had total funds under management of £16.9 billion ($25.4 billion) as of the end of September. Old Mutual Wealth completed its acquisition of Quilter Cheviot for £585 million in February this year.
