Quartet Of Former Deutsche Bank Wealth Managers Head Over To Swiss Rival In London

A Swiss private bank has brought over a group of former Deutsche staff to build up a relationship management team.

A quartet of former Deutsche Bank managers have been snapped up by Julius Baer in London to form part of its relationship management and wealth planning team, the latter bank said today. 

The Zurich-listed bank appointed Annabel Bosman, Damien Crommie, Matthew Garnham and Jamie Banks, all from Deutsche Bank, which in recent weeks has announced a mass shakeup of its wealth and asset management business, as well as a number of other restructurings. (See here.)

The four managers will focus on developing UK business that covers domiciled and non-domiciled clients, reporting to David Durlacher, head of relationship management.  They will be supported by Fabian Ruggieri, the bank said in a statement.

Bosman, managing director, senior advisor, has more than 18 years of experience in relationship management and advising high and ultra-high net worth individuals.  At Deutsche Bank’s London office, she had been a senior banker since 2009, before which she was an investment counsellor at Citi.  At Deutsche Bank she represented the firm at the Global Women Leaders’ Programme at INSEAD, France. 
 
Crommie, executive director, has over 13 years of experience in relationship management and advising high and ultra-high net worth individuals.   He has been a senior banker at Deutsche Bank since 2010, prior to which he worked as an advisor in Australia for National Australia Bank. 
 
Garnham, director, has over 10 years’ experience in relationship management and advising high and ultra-high net worth individuals, most recently in Deutsche Bank’s London office, which he joined in 2012 .  Before that he was a senior advisor at Credit Suisse and Lombard Odier. 
 
Jamie Banks, executive director, has over 16 years’ experience in wealth and tax planning for private individuals, including in Deutsche Bank’s London office, which he joined in 2008.  Latterly he headed Deutsche Bank’s UK Regulated Wealth Planning Business. 
 
Fabian Ruggieri has worked as an advisor to private clients for over 5 years. He will support the team in servicing clients.
