Private Wealth Advisors Leave Credit Suisse For Merrill Lynch In US

A team of former Credit Suisse advisors has moved to Merrill Lynch's private banking arm in Chicago.

Private wealth advisors Christopher Baldwin, Thomas Tyndorf and Andrew Skoglund have joined Merrill Lynch’s private banking and investment group from Credit Suisse in Chicago, Illinois. They all join as managing directors.

Also joining Merrill's PBIG are financial analysts Daniel Aliaga and Amber O’Malley and client associates Sylvia Weitzman, Laura Bienz and Leslie Cannon.

The advisors managed approximately $3.5 billion of client assets at Credit Suisse, and will now report to PBIG's regional managing director, Brett Thelander.

Separately, last month a report said that Credit Suisse plans to sell its US private bank and cut back its prime brokerage arm.
