Private Banker Returns To Financial World After Spell As Nurse In US

A private banker who took out time from the financial world to work as a nurse has returned to the financial fray at BNY Mellon Wealth Management.

BNY Mellon said it has appointed Julie Beck as vice president and private banking team leader at its Westport, Connecticut branch.

Serving the greater Fairfield County region, Ms Beck reports to portfolio management team leader, Jeffrey Burns, and sales director, Chris Borowiec, to provide private banking services to high net worth clients.

Ms Beck, who most recently worked as an oncology nurse at Yale New Haven Hospital, was chief financial officer and a partner at Acumen Partners, a financial consulting firm in Westport.  Before joining Acumen, she was a vice president and regional credit deputy with Chemical Bank, now JPMorganChase, in New York.
